๐๐ฒ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ฒ๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐ ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐ผ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ ๐ถ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐ ๐๐ผ๐๐ฟ ๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ธ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐น๐ผ๐ฝ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐บ๐ฎ๐ป๐ ๐ต๐ฒ๐ฎ๐น๐๐ต ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฏ๐น๐ฒ๐บ๐, ๐ถ๐ป๐ฐ๐น๐๐ฑ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐. Overweight and obesity are risk factors for type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, metabolic syndrome, fatty liver diseases, and certain types of cancers.
Maintaining a healthy weight significantly lowers your risk of developing diabetes. Eat more nutrient-rich foods, like fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Limit foods and drinks that are high in calories, salt, sugar, and fat. Get at least 150 minutes of physical activity each week, including aerobic activity and muscle-strengthening activity.
๐๐ณ ๐๐ผ๐ ๐ต๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐, ๐๐ผ๐ ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ป ๐๐๐ถ๐น๐น ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฏ๐ผ๐ต๐๐ฑ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐. People with diabetes can eat complex carbohydrates in moderation as part of a healthy, balanced diet. Complex carbs increase your blood sugar more slowly because they contain fiber and other complex starches that take longer for your body to digest.
Examples of complex carbs include brown rice, oats, legumes such as beans and lentils, whole wheat breads and pastas, potatoes, yams, fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds. Choose these carbs to get the most nutrition with the least impact on blood sugar.
